Rampark farm, farmed by the Deegan family since the 1700’s, consists of 140 acres, 100 acres of which are under forestry. The forests consist mainly of oak, beech, ash, sycamore, Norway Spruce and Scots Pine.
There are 3km of paths through the forest along with many other tree species. A calf to beef enterprise is run on the remainder of the farm and a small amount of horticulture.
There are also hens, broilers, ducks, turkeys, pea fowl and pigs. Since 1999 all of the meat and vegetables have been produced organically.
